Up to you whether you want to think so very little of the US Constitution, and of Constitutional Democracy and our founder's great and clever plan to preserve our liberties by dividing the powers of government up among separate and co-equal branches, clearly defining and enumerating what roles and responsibilities are encompassed by each.... Personally though, I'm rather fond of the American 'experiment', and am loath to give it up for any Authoritarian scheme... (or the desires of those who would subvert liberty by diluting it, and blurring the clear lines that keep the entire design from grinding to an ignominious, and likely Totalitarian, end.)
