Are you sure about the printing presses being hidden. It's so brazen being put forward for all bad paper in the TAF's.....IMHO

The market works from assumptions, data and hubris. Right now the data should make people realize that this downturn could be prolonged - but assumptions and hubris point to a short little recession. My take on this is that the market can rally on assumptions and hubris -- the consequences of the data will not be clear until fall. Lower rates will stir the pot -- but it will not change the quality of the stew. What remains to be seen is whether we still have the ability to drag the rest of the world down with us -- and by that mean right into the toilet, as distinct from merely slowing them down a bit.
