I was just flipping through some more articles about McCain written by conservatives. I've never seen conservatives (as a group) more hostile to a republican candidate for anything.

The best case scenario was that they don't hate Hillary more than McCain by enough for it to matter. So they won't campaign, contribute or help him in any way. And if Obama wins, they may actually vote that way because even though he's not conservative on policy, they like him.

It's amazing.

Personally, that's the way I feel about him also, but I didn't think the hostility was so deep and broad.

The only point I disagree on is when he says the party is not fractured, it's simply divided into 3 camps. Uh, that's fractured in my book.
