Frank, dare I be the lone voice of dissent?

There is lots of gas around left to be found and developed, I don't see the doom & gloom scenario.

North America has shown it can come up with a supply response, and Europe can be supplied by Russia for decades to come. There was some article recently saying developing the Kamal peninsula in Russia would cost something like $200 billion and it would be able to supply all of Europe for a decade.

I do think you are spot on regarding nuclear plants.

Two thoughts:

1) The Nightly Business Report had a gentlrman on who thought that we were in for a long hard recession. He didn't like bonds. He did like a few selected energy stocks...Apache and Chesapeake.

2) I have said many times - no more coal plants can be built because of the Green Religion. It leaves only gas in the short term.
