I pretty much agree with your take. I still think if the democrats were smart they'd tether themselves to him. Hillary represents no real change. Obama is the future for the democrats so even if he loses I think he's a guy that could become a force in years to come. In ways he reminds of Mario Cuomo. I can't remember the year but I believe Cuomo spoke at the DNC (maybe 1984?) He gave a great speech and I remember my friends and I thought he, too, would be a force in the future so my record isn't very good on these things
