Having both parents work, imo, dramatically weakens society, and lessens our ability to adequately parent the future generations.

Insufficient parenting weakens society. "Having both parents work" doesn't. Sure, both parents working may contribute to insufficient parenting but they are not the same thing. Your target is off center. To solve a problem, you have to accurately identify the problem.
