Re: Likewise, the quad-core Phenom 9900, clocked at 2.6GHz, is claimed to have been knocked on the head. Ditto the 2.4GHz 9700.

According to the moles, Q2 will see the arrival of the 2.2GHz 9550, the 2.3GHz 9650 and the 2.4GHz 9750. The 2.6GHz P9950 will ship in Q3, it's said. All the quad-cores are down as being based upon the B3 core stepping.

No quad-core desktops above 2.4GHz until Q3? Ouch.

Yet another roadmap torn up.

Charlie D 12/8/07: From this point on, what needs to be done? For AMD it is quite simple: shut up and deliver. Make damn sure your roadmaps are 100 per cent accurate.

So, AMD slips again. No 2.6GHz Phenom until *Q3* now. Pathetic.
