You are trying to change the subject.

I NEVER argued (search through the posts if you like, you'll see it is nowhere in there!) that a Congressional resolution was "illegal". :-)

I simply pointed out the PLAIN and SIMPLE TRUTH that it *is not* a formal, Constitutionally defined, Declaration of War.

For just ONE thing, a simple majority vote will not suffice to pass a formal declaration of war!
