This is one of the most incredible snow yrs I have ever witnessed. Found out hubby tore meniscus and ACL. The doc is going to go in and scrape the meniscus in a couple of weeks using arthroscopic techniques. He's (hubby) going to wear knee brace for ACL injury and see if that is all he needs to do. If that doesn't work and he has too many restrictions he'll go in for surgery. The recovery time for meniscus surgery is a week. Recovery from ACL surgery is many months. Doc said he can ski after he heals for meniscus surgery, so he should be able to go out in March. He'll wear brace when he does. If that doesn't work he'll have ACL surgery.
