KLP: More and more, as you write and as I read what you write, the more I know why I like you so much. You are one of the few people in my extended world who has a grasp on what is really happening in that extended world. I have almost resigned myself to the fact that most people will never know and really don't care, unless it puts money in their pocket or makes them look good while everybody else looks bad. I quit trying to be politically correct when I was eight years old, selling Grit and True Story magazines door to door in order to make a nickel or two so that I could buy candy. I got so good at my trade that I could tell when the door opened at my knock whether the lady who answered would buy a Grit or a True Story even before she asked. Oh well. What the hell. The more things change the more they remain the same.
