Intel Quits Effort to Get Computers to Children

nytimes.com

Yeah, I guess it will be up to AMD to get laptops in the hands of the world's poorest children.

Smooth what computer chip are you currently using? I bet AMD is currently selling faster and better chips than you are currently using and at a cheaper price than you paid for your computer. That's what would happen if AMD had to supply 80% of the world's chips. Today 80% or more people in the world can look at the computer they are using, and find a faster and better AMD chip at a lower price than the computer they are currently using.
