McCain's too fricken old.

Yeah, he is. He wouldn't look too bad in debates next to Hilary, who's no spring chicken either, but next to Obama? Youth, vigor and eloquence, next to a cranky old man? Fugeddaboutit. Unless Obama said something really, really stupid that got a lot of play.

Good point. You know what else bugs me about McCain. He speaks about his time serving in the Senate as if it's been some kind of civil service sacrifice. Especially the way he compares it to the private sector work of Romney.

Excuse me Senator McCain. You're payed 170K per year to serve as a Senator. It's a privilege not a sacrifice. You're carted around in limousines and treated like a King wherever you go. That isn't sacrificial service. And we (as American taxpayer) *pay* for your lifestyle. One which has apparently afforded you a multimillion dollar home in Arizona.

To view this as some sort of "sacrifice" is pathetic. I think quite a few Americans would like to sacrifice the way you do.
