Quite right. There is certainly more than a little of that going on.

Shift wealth from the wealthy to J6P by freezing rates on ARMs. Shift wealth from J6P to the wealthy by printing money - assuming that the wealthy own assets which appreciate at a rate equal or greater than inflation.

Where does it net out??? Beats me.

I have no credit card or HELOC debt. But I also have no plasma TV. Where does that leave me??? I told a buddy 15 years ago that I had no credit card debt (true then and now). He looked at me with disdain and called me unAmerican.
