It reminds me of the commercials showing Bob Beaman rooting for Carl Lewis to break his long jump record. When he didn't, ol' Bob was beaming ear to ear. His 1968 record held until 1991 in Tokyo.

Don Shula is a bit of a sorehead, anyway, as are most successful football coaches.

Sore losers and obnoxious winners are equally despised.

I am not a big NFL fan, much preferring the college pros to the pro pros, but I may watch tomorrow's game after I get home from the track. But I cannot start my viewing until the second half. The idea of accidentally seeing the horrible halftime show frightens me. And all those ads turn me off the game before I reach the end, unless I start watching late.
