I'm not much of a planner. I just pick a region & decide what I wish to do when we get there. If we ever get there in cooler weather I'd like to try the islands off Napoli, & perhaps down to Sicilia & Malta. Last time I was in Naples it was May, & definitely too hot. I'm of Irish extraction & anything over 90F/33C is too much for me. The sun is merciless in the Amalfi area. In the NorthWest I'd definitely like to travel the seacoast. But next time I'd like to return to Como & spend some time in Switzerland. The kids are all older, the youngest 18. The last trip was a family deal because we hadn't traveled Europe together since they were young. Next time they can go on their own dime. Any suggestions for Lombardi? I'm pretty set on staying there & driving to Switzerland.
