"I don't know how you guys are coming to that conclusion."

Well, when the Republicans can't raise money, you have to know they are in trouble.

The Republicans can't raise money now. When the GOP nominee is selected, I think there may be a different story.

Big trouble. I can't recall any presidential election where even in the primaries the Republicans didn't raise more money than the Democrats.

It is extremely doubtful that the Republicans can snag many independents this time around. There is just nothing that appeals to them. And quite a bit that runs them off. And there isn't much reason to get any Democrats to cross over.

And the 33% behind Bush might not even vote for the likely candidate for the Republicans.

I guess I won't believe it until I see it. Back in 2004, everyone was so sure that Kerry would win. And current talk about a Dem win sounds very similar to me.

CJ, if you get a chance, rent the DVD Across The Universe. Street date is Tuesday, I get them early and watched it twice this weekend. For most people it might not mean a lot but for people our age it is a killer movie.

There is a scene where the guy goes for the draft physical. Been there, done that. It's a surreal depiction. And doesn't do the reality justice... it's much more strange and surreal.
