When we moved here the moving van was parked in the driveway. We broke for lunch and treated the crew to a pizza. While we were all eating, a woman who was spilling out of her tank top in several places walked by with her dog, who squatted at the end of our driveway. My wife saw this and got a plastic bag which she offered to the woman when she came back around the culdesac. "Perhaps you'd like to clean up after your dog!" she said.

"This is Stevens County. We don't have a leash law and I don't have to clean up after my dog. If you don't like it, why don't you move somewhere else!" Whereupon the woman marched around the corner yelling her diatribe.

"Lady, you can shut up now because I'm not listening," my wife said.

The moving van crew could hardly chew their pizza they were laughing so hard.

When they left, they asked "Do you think it would be all right if we all took a dump in your driveway?"

We found out where the woman lives and every time we walk by with our dog we're tempted to make a deposit, but we never have. Our dog usually has the good grace to poop close enough to our house so I can pick it up and throw it in the back yard for later disposal.
