You're right Octavian.

Why does Kirk have to through all these various gerrymandering of combinations of portfolios? Why doesn't he just show the performance of EACH portfolio on a yearly basis?

I suspect the performance of his "explore" portfolio by itself is lousy.

And how does this work? Kirk says his most aggressive portfolio plus his explore only return 4.6% annually? The same as the total market?

These numbers look funny to me Kirk...

80% in “Core Aggressive” plus 20% in “Explore” was up 103.3% or 4.6% compound annual return.
==> $100,000 invested 1/1/99 became $203,341?

100% in VTSMX was up 49.6% or 4.6% compound annual return.
==> $100,000 invested 1/1/99 became $149,649
