A healthier population is cheaper under government insurance.

That's a very questionable statement. Its also one that isn't much related to the idea we are talking about. Even if your right about government insurance giving us more for less, that doesn't imply that there is any intrinsic or necessary connection between government promoting healthy lifestyles and government run health insurance. The promotions for healthy lifestyles are a separate issue.

Health Insurance with equal quality care is not one thing that one could reasonably believe that opinion would apply to.
