john,

Frankly, in almost all the above actions, the government was following the recommendations of the medical community.

Yes, and medical community is certainly big part of the problem. Medical community is the sickness industry (together with the big pharma and insurance), and governemt bodies are "captured" regulators.

But the government is not blameless. There have been a number of disastrous initiatives that came from politicians and government bodies.

With their poor track record, anything that reduces their influence is a positive, anything that increases their influence is a negative.

Let me give you an example. Children of America are being drugged with powerful psychiatric drugs - on a wholesale basis. Well, I am not really addressing the adults, who have some say, but children are being drugged, certainly against their own will. We are raising a new race of people who have damaged brains, damaged minds. This kind of stuff that we only imagine went on in Nazi concentration camps. And it is going on today, under supervision of governments of all levels, subsidised by the governments by paying some of the bills and it is administered by the medical community.

Do you want to give these people more power?

Joe
