Certainly some folks can look at plunging home prices, low M1 money growth and record low long term rates and come up with a different conclusion.. My take is lax lending and overbuilding are a short term pain for housing while back end monetezation of the yield curve only reflected in broad MZ artificially are keeping long term rates so low.. Every other piece of evidence points to at least a much higher inflation cycle in comings years..
