Me too.

He's the only person in the race I really like. I think he's smart not to alienate people by going after Bush. Bush is, after all, the lamest of lame ducks. Despite the far right praying nightly about his legacy, I'm afraid it's going to be dismal- and people just don't like him, his war, or the economy we now find ourselves in. There is no need to run against Bush. We can stick a fork in him; he's done :-)

Obama's message of change is generic because he wants to appeal to as many people as possible. The more specific he is, the more he risks losing people, and his general message resonates- so I'm not sure it's in his interest to get too specific.

He's quite liberal, and that's good enough for me :-)

<<<He is the only person running who came out against the war before it was a war.

Good point.

The more I read about him, the more I'm inclined to support his candidacy.>>>

No doubt about it. He is a good man, but what is the rush. Win or lose the nomination, he is not going away.

We need a longer term view. America needs more than 8 years to heal after the damage - almost biblical in scope.

A rush to put Obama in office before he is ready could be a disaster in terms of not having anybody ready for the next eight years.

Bush is history, but it is not Bush that we have to fear. Bush was only a tool of those that put him in office. They are not going away.
