Obama won't peel away folks who are still firmly in Bush's base (or the ideological equivalent for those who can't stand Bush personally in that circle).

But he does draw away more moderate Republicans and uncommitted voters, much more than Hillary. And her positions aren't different enough to suit the article's author either. She is tied down to her base plus hoping enough independents vote anti-Bush-legacy to get her 50.x%.
