Glenn,

The fact is that Puplava has not advocated gold or energy (Oil or Gas) in the futures market for his listeners (and clients). He has generally advocated stocks in PM and oil juniors and those have simply done terribly in the past few years. He never warned about that. You remember his major Pac-Man call? Did it ever materialize?

financialsense.com

"... For these reasons, the game of Pac-Man is about to begin. Large companies will acquire mid-tiered companies. Mid-tiered companies will acquire small producers, while small producers will acquire juniors and other undeveloped properties. This game which has been played over the last decade as viewed by the number of acquisitions below will accelerate. ..."

It has now been 4 years of basically stagnant returns for these juniors. It may materialize some time but his call was simply awful.

Let's face it, some of his guests, i.e. Faber and few others are excellent, Puplava himself is a waste of time.
