Are you telling me no one has to wait as long as 2.5 months for some surgeries in this country?? If you are, you're naive.
All doctors advertise.....check the yellow pages. Your story is anecdotal as is mine, but I am certain you can't get elective surgery on demand. I also had rotator cuff surgery and was given a surgery date 2.5 months later.....I didn't want to put up with the pain so I found another surgeon......1.5 months. For a blown out knee, I was examined 2 days later and scheduled for surgery the next day.....ie surgery was not elective. And btw, both of my surgeries were done at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. If you haven't heard of it, look it up.
