Well, while I've decided to vote for Obama tomorrow for some, but not all, of the reasons you've championed him here, I think it's important to note that the Clintons were under attack, viciously, through the 90s.

And it's important to note that she worked well with the Reps in the senate. Lindsay Graham, for heavens sake.

I do expect Obama to be put under the attack microscope if he gets the nomination. Apparently, the Reps are already interviewing his former college classmates about his drug use. Steve Coll, the former New Yorker and Washington Post writer/editor, who now runs one of the more important think tanks in DC, was at Occidental with Obama. He was contacted.

His comment was fascinating--I think this was on Josh Marshall--that so far as he, Coll, knew Obama's comments about his drug use in his book were more than he ever saw. He and Obama and Coll's wife were the part of the student body focused on student government. Didn't hang out with the student drug crowd.

My guess those calls about drug use, I've said this before here, are paralleled by calls about his relationships with women.

Just anything to dig up dirt.

Gonna be a really mean season once we move to the generals.

I doubt you will get peace in the valley.
