I would not have bet on NE with the 12-point spread. The game was always likely to be close, like Clinton and Obama could go to the convention without a clear resolution.

The Giants had shown a lot of talent on the playoff trail. Then they showed the necessary heart to win under extreme pressure. I honestly didn't expect them to pull it off but they did.

If Obama wins the nomination and then the White House, I'll probably see it the same way. Wouldn't bet on it but wouldn't oppose it with long odds either.
