I'm sure he has had that regret a few times in his life, with words and other things, LOL.

I was also amazed people didn't harp on the Iowa win in contrast with South Carolina. A truly "black" candidacy would have been lost in the snow and cornfields up there.

We discussed the whole Reagan thing pretty thoroughly here. Clinton remains in the small group of presidents who won re-election and left office with decent or high popularity ratings. But he will be remembered more for his personal presence than having carved out any new political niche.

Obama on CNN right now, FWIW. He is aiming much more at McCain and Bush than Hillary, interesting.
