Fascinating. Freeze domestic programs, but spend money like a drunken sailor on a never-ending war against "terror". I can't see the US populace supporting an all guns and no butter strategy indefinitely. But who knows.

Wonder if the US will soon face it's own form of a Structural Adjustment Program of the variety forced on debt-strapped emerging economies of the 1990's?
