Neal, there was a show tonite on MSNBC that tallied up media coverage on Hillary, Bill, and Barack.

The percentages of negative media coverage for Hill and Bill were much much higher than for Obama. The period covered was the time from the New Hampshire primary until now. Over 80% of Bill's coverage was negative. Hillary was in the 70s and Barack's negative media commentary was only 23%.

The media is sweeping Obama into the nomination. I don't like it. It's not fair. But I believe he'll be a good candidate against McCain considering his natural charisma.

As for the petty, vicious attacks on the Clintons......I think I'd be tempted to take my money and my lucrative speaking engagements and retire to Europe where I was liked and respected and the currency was stronger. <g>

<<<If he really had vision and the ethics that everybody ascribes to him, Obama would say something about this piling on. >>>

If Obama is as smart as people say he is, he should be jumping all over the unfair treatment Hillary is getting. He has nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Basically he will be head of the democratic party for the next 8 to 16 years.

He should be in this struggle for the long run. Or is he going to be just like any other politician and grab what he can get as soon as he can get it?
