You make a good point, especially since I am one to encourage long term investing but....

you knew there had to be one....

Brinker's newsletter is a whole 8 pages long.

Three of those pages are used to list his recommended mutual funds where he shows their returns for each of the last 5 years plus 2008 YTD.

If Brinker thinks it is important enough to tell you how each of the funds has done YTD, then don't you think it makes sense for him to tell how his RECOMMENDED combinations of those funds are doing also?

Despite only being a 10 page newsletter, there is plenty of room for this information, yet he doesn't list it.

BTW, welcome to SI with your first post. I am honored you joined to reply to my rather simple post calculating something "many other reputable" newsletters include each month.
