things like knee and hip replacement, rotator cuff, plastic surgery, a annual physical exam, a colonoscopy, and an endoscopy I haven't heard of lengthy waits for any of those things and my parents have had a number of those things. I think you're talking about normal scheduling issues. From what I've read patients in socialized systems often face long waits for such things - months.
