I just found out about it now. The excuse is the ankle injury. I'd take that.

I personally think Tom Brady played one heck of a game. Just not enough to become "the team of destiny." As in politics, being the front-runner seems to be a curse here in America. Everyone then goes after you.

Nah, it's not unusual... it's not like baseball or basketball. If you're a little banged up and you already have enough exposure (as is the case with Brady), you very often skip the Pro Bowl.

Football is dangerous, and why take the risk on your career and play an extra game if you don't have to?
