<<If Hillary gets the nomination it will take a lot of people out of the game altogether; the thousands of people lining up to hear Obama aren't going to transfer their enthusiasim to Hillary, they are just going to forget about politics for the next few years.

If Obama is the man everybody claims he is, I would think that he would help minimize this if Hillary gets the nomination by continuing to campaign. I would expect that conversely, if Obama got the nod, that Hillary would do her best to minimize any of her supporters going to the other side or staying home. If the person you want doesn't get the nomination, the main thing then becomes to retake the white house and keep the republicans out.

within 24 hours I might be out of the game altogether until the 2012 elections role around.

So you would act to hand the election over to the Republicans rather than vote for Hillary??
