It would go a long way to just acknowledge the bad recommendations with the good as nobody in the investment game is perfect." I agree with you. And he should include the MSFT and VOD recommendations from inception too. "One of the difficulties I have had is trying to gather all of the information from about 1000 newsletters (including alerts) that I have sent over the last 9 years so that I can provide performance figures from inception. When I have completed that daunting task, I will publish them publically on my discussion thread on SI. I promise you that, but it will take some time to go through. I intend to include every thing, not just cherry picking." I think you've made the right decision.

David, It is amazing how easily you can peg this jerk Brinker. His ego and 'sweep under the rug' all mistakes just won't allow him to avoid responding here from time to time..Gee Rammdexter.. how's the weather in Henderson!!!!

David: I'm not sure where to begin with this message either. You address "Bob" as if it's clear to you that Bob is indeed here. I don't think Bob has identified himself. Further, I wonder if others feel the same way I do in that your message appears like one of those spam messages that we all so quickly delete. This is a Bob Brinker thread, and I'm not sure that details about your own newsletter, which you say doesn't compete with Marketimer, has any business here. I'm sure you can't disagree when I say that ALL newsletters are competing with each other to some extent. Some investors may subscribe to multiple newsletters, but for many, the budget is limited and only one letter can be afforded. FOr this reason, I disagree with you regarding your statement, "......is not in competition with Marketimer." Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be suprised if I'm the only person who sees things in this manner. take care, MI
