Looking into the crystal ball, I'd say McCain will have a very different strategy in the general election. He will not attack his Democrat opponent fiercely. Instead he will reserve his toughest rhetoric for "the current administration" and for republicans like Romney and other real conservatives. He'll market himself as an agent of change. The debates will be love fests and Bush bashes.

I voted for one democrat in my life and he was a neighbor and actually much more qualified than the Republican. I knew the Republican and couldn't stand him.
