Right. Rumsfeld had one idea right. We should be moving to a very high tech, very mobile armed forces. More marines, less Army. And we should be resolving armed conflict through the air and through ground strikes with marines and special forces, not going in to destroy a country and then do nation building. Let's get out of this nation building business. We can't afford it and we can't afford to be the world police. Instead, let's make damn sure everyone knows that if they mess with our interests around the world or at home, they will be a price that is 10 times greater than we suffered. But let's not get crazy and go start 100 year wars. We can't afford it.
