Suma, the more history I read, the more inclined I am to believe that we should not now and never should have before meddled in the business of other countries with regard to their form of government, their type of economies, and their use of their own natural resources.

Limited intervention for humanitarian purposes possibly, but none of the above.

Western style imperialism needs to finally be put to rest, IMO.

Hey ml-- I couldn't find your post about the conservative talkshows quickly, so am just using this one to respond. They are discussing this issue on CNN and someone had an interesting point about the rather irrational and strange declarations on the parts of some that they will vote for Hillary before McCain.

Rush, Coulter- they make their money and fame on their ultra-conservative opinions. A McCain victory, with his liberal stances, could mean their power as kingmakers is waning. People aren't responding to their great wisdom and learned guidance.

It's enough to make me vote for McCain.
