I remember trying to drive through the streets of Florence in a rental car the size of a Honda Civic. It was pure madness given how utterly narrow and unintuitively one-way the streets were. The Smart car was pretty much made for that kind of driving. But the gas mileage is worse than you think. Around 37 MPG, IIRC. You might as well just get a Prius or Civic. Tenchusatsu
