Sure if the rate was lower, the corporations would like it to be lower still (or they would like to find some loophole so they can pay less).

But when your not paying as much and can't save as much your incentive to put a lot of effort in to paying less (and possibly make less efficient investments just because they are better at helping you to avoid the taxes) goes down.
