Yes, 2 years ago, and they still have to keep the rates high.
Bummer! -g- If I remember correctly, their situation prior
to the crisis was pretty bad, with 300% of GDP borrowed from
foreigners. Iceland is a tiny country.

FWIW, I think US sovereign debt will get downgraded by
Moody's.... AFTER the currency crisis, of course....
And, if Moody's is still around; I'm not 100% sure
they will be. What's the use of a credit rating
agency that issues fraudulent ratings? -ggg-
