is rooted less in his need to see his wife elected than in his need to see OBAMA lose, so that Bill’s legacy is protected

Wow! That's a heavy statement. I like Dawd and find her right on most of the time.

But, if he wants to be president, he will still have to slay the dragon. And his dragon is the Clinton attack machine, which emerged Tuesday night, not invincible but breathing fire.

Fire breathing attack machine. I love her use of words.

Why do you keep posting this silly, factless Clinton-bashing crap, Dale?

I came to this thread because I took seriously the objectives you laid out in the header......phrases like 'thoughtful analysis' and a shunning of the hate-filled politics of the past.

Instead I find an endless stream of articles from you that just carry on the tired old right-wing diatribe against the Clintons.

And it's very curious to me. Being a professional investor yourself, I would have thought you had developed the ability to ignore what pundits say and think for yourself....reaching fact-based decisions that often are contrarian in nature.....not emotional decisions...and not being swept along with the popular assessment of things.

Obviously I've come to the wrong place.

In parting let me suggest that you change the name of the thread to some variation of Dittohead Hillary Haters and include a directive for people to dump their most vitriolic and unreasoned assessments of her as a person and a candidate.

Maybe include a reading list of all Dowd's articles and some links to to the NY Post and Washington Times?

This would be more honest than the high-minded rhetoric of the thread header.
