Al Qaeda in Iraq is already becoming marginalized. Being a fanatic or a zealot does not mean you can't lose. It might mean when you are marginalized you keep up what little resistance you can still muster, but we don't have to make a big effort, or even necessarily be present, every place there is some marginized force against our interest.

We might be in Afghanistan longer, but with lower force levels, and I think it would be even more a mistake to pull out of Afghanistan than Iraq. Do you think we should pull out of Afghanistan? After all we are fighting fanatics there as well?
