Jonesie,

Thanks, although I hope the final story hasn't been played out yet with Simtek.

I just got back from helping my parents out and did not have access for the past week so I am just now catching up. It looks like Crestview has been selling into the news over the past week. They have sold about 6% by rough calculation of their position. If they hadn't done this, I think the share price would have been higher.

I am thinking that the original deal with Cypress going on 2-3 years ago was really their first attempt to buy Simtek on the cheap. The way that deal was structured, especially with all the restricted cash as well as the financial trouble Simtek was in, I think that Cypress was hoping to get Simtek on the cheap. HB came in and righted the ship so Cypress was waiting for a better time and with most of the chip sector in the gutter right now, they decided this would be their best(and cheapest) time to buy. Especially since the new chip is coming into production soon and I am sure they see the real potential in this and don't want to let Simtek slip away. I saw that Crony was hoping for $5 a share but that is looking like 2.5 X price to sales ratio, which , for a small company like Simtek with some high potential technology, isn't very high. I was hoping for a minimum of $6 per share. I hope that HB is a good bargainer on our behalf but I have seen management time and again sell out shareholders for their own gains. Again we will have to see.

Good luck out their.

Neal
