With the outcome possibly coming down to 100 delegates out of more than 4000, this is going to be a tough, scrappy fight all the way. It will more than test and "vet" Obama for whatever comes later, should he be the nominee.

If Hillary comes out 100 delegates ahead and offers Obama the VP slot, it will be interesting to see if he hitches his wagon to her or steps back to be the unquestioned frontrunner four years later, should Hillary lose to McCain (which is very possible).
