And have 4 -8 years of votes to defend. No way will that help him. It is why not many from the Senate have become President although looks like this year is an exception.

Huckabee is a much stronger choice

They just asked a republican pundit on CNBC about a this very match and the republican guy said ....."absolutely not". Then they mentioned Lieberman with McCain - no further comment was made as it was end of conversation on the subject.

Well let's have a look at it this way. With a tongue in cheek now.

Johnson might never have become president had Kennedy not been killed.
The way the "right" hates Hillary if she wins Obama might well end up being the president.

I think a bird in the hand is better than one in the Bush. I think if offered he should take the Vice Presidency.
