IN a couple weeks I will be having lunch with a friend who was born and raised in Pakistan......moved to NY when she was 14. Her brother is in Islamabad or Karachi and is an attorney. She said she would fill me in when we have lunch and there is too much to say over the phone. She did say it is very bad over there right now which is not news to us. After I talk with her Ill relay whatever she says here. She once told me that Al Quada is everywhere in Pakistan and they live within the regular families so it's impossible to tell them apart. She was proved correct. SHe also said the warlords in Afghanistan are the worst................worse then the Taliban. IF anyone is wondering about her allegiance she had a sister who survived the WOrld Trade Center disaster from the 14th floor. HEr sister was in a wheel chair and was helped out by her co-workers. Her brother witnessed it from a coffeehouse across the street as he was on his way to work. She has a unique perspective on the situation as a whole.
