Black Dragon Grosses over $400,000 for the Month of January 2008
Monday February 4, 8:00 am ET

OIL CITY, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mr. Joseph Lanza, President of Black Dragon Resource Companies, Inc. (BDGR: PinkSheets) announced today that approximately 4,800 barrels of oil were shipped to collectors during January 2008, in addition to 1,300 barrels left in the tanks due to heavy rains. Mr. Lanza went on to say that in January and February of 2007, Black Dragon grossed only $173,246.65 in January and $230,701.32 in February, totaling $403,947.97 with a March 2007 gross of $250,921.10.

"As you can see," Mr. Lanza added, "Black Dragon did about as much in one month this year as it did in the first two months of last year in both barrels delivered and revenues received." In addition, Mr. Lanza noted that Black Dragon continues to work to achieve continuous operation of three recently fraced wells. The Company has been using the new pump that handles sand, water, oil and gas, with a life expectancy of five (5) years, but has experienced minor difficulties in adjusting the pump to the right compressor. “We hope,” Mr.Lanza added, “to have this problem completely solved next week. Once in full production, this will definitely increase our gas & oil production.” Mr. Lanza also noted that the Company’s goal for February is $500,000, depending on the weather and the success of the new pump.

Mr. Lanza concluded by reporting that both the Summit Management and the Funding Group are continuing to move forward promptly and the Company expects to report on their new progress next week.
