If Hillary gets more delegates in straight-up contests then she deserves the nomination. They have both worked their butts off and sweated blood on the way to get this far.

Clearly, there are two sets of personal preferences within the party regarding the style and background of the nominee they want. That's what the primaries are for, to give all that a thorough airing.

The exchanges here have illuminated those differences in a very clear, interesting way. I hope everybody can keep what we do here in that context. Nothing we say is going to change the outcome of a single primary; our individual votes won't even matter much if at all.
