McCain will toss out Huckabee with the trash when he is done using him.

Jim, > McCains gonna get blasted on the war. This is his problem, he comes off as the little General looking to pick a fight.

That's not his only problem, of course.

I was just wondering how likely the race was going to turn out post-primary. On the Dem side, a lot in the media as well as the public are still rooting for an Obama upset, but I think Hillary will end up with the nomination in the end. Hence the chances of a Hillary/Obama ticket are high.

As for McCain, I think we can rule out Romney as his running mate. Hence it's probably Huckabee. McCain will have to build bridges to the conservative base, maybe even flip-flop on a couple of his stances, but he in a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't position that he arguably placed himself in. He's been a media darling for years, but that will go away in a flash (look at Rudy for example).
